Launched in Dec. 2021
Use case
A wrong connection of multiple connectors of the same type and number of pins will not be noticed until inspection, leading to board damage.
Push the coding key straight to the back, tilt the hold section and fold out the key tip.
Coding keys allow pairing sockets and plugs to specific mating to prevent misconnections.
NOTE: Three coding keys can be inserted into each of the socket and plug on the left and right sides for both 1-row and 2-row types. To ensure prevention of wrong mating, it is recommended that three coding keys be inserted into each socket and plug. Up to 20 combinations are available as recommended coding patterns.
