(Issues)
There are various types of printing papers available, for example, transparent or variously colors. If using a general sensor, sensitivity adjustment may be needed for each different colored form or it may detect the background when sensing a transparent sheet.

Solution

  • ・Adopted model:
    Light convergent reflective sensor B5W-LB2112-1
  • ・This sensor is optically designed to detect objects with low reflectivity, such as transparent plastic and black. This is useful for detecting various types of printing paper (glossy, non-glossy, transparent, etc.).
  • ・This sensor contributes to the downsizing of the equipment because there is no influence from background objects in the predetermined non-sensing range.
