OMRON Expands D2EW Series with New UL-Approved and Terminal Models

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL., May 12, 2025 – OMRON Electronic Components, a global leader in innovative component solutions, has announced the release of several new models to its D2EW Series of sealed ultra subminiature basic switches. Known for their compact design and high environmental resistance, the line extension adds multiple configurations to better serve applications requiring space efficiency, reliability, and IP67-level protection.

The D2EW series is ideal for devices exposed to water, oil, dust, or outdoor elements, such as vending machines, smart meters, EV charging stations, and alarm systems. The sealed construction ensures durability, while the ultra-compact design supports the growing need for smaller, more integrated products.

• Straight PCB terminals
• Short press-fit terminals
• M3 screw-mount options
• Molded lead wires (available in downward, left, or right orientations)
