President & CEO’s Message

On July 1, 2026, OMRON’s Device & Module Solutions Company will be spun off as Aratas Corporation, and on October 1, we will become independent of the OMRON Group with the support of Carlyle as our partner.

We see the future as presenting both growing social challenges and significant opportunities to create new markets and businesses. While navigating the risks that come with these changes, we have decided to spin off and become independent together with Carlyle in order to establish a structure that enables fast, autonomous decision-making and optimal investment, ensuring the continued growth of our electronic components business.

As part of this, Aratas will adopt a vertically integrated structure organized into five business divisions—Diversified Application, Application Modules, Mobility, Industrial Components, and Strategic Industries, enabling faster decision-making and execution.

The name “Aratas” combines two Japanese words meaning “new” and “tomorrow.” It reflects our aspiration, as a global company from Japan, to create a new tomorrow together with our customers worldwide.

Underpinning this approach is our mission:
“We harness innovative connections between people and technology to create a new tomorrow.”
This declaration signifies our commitment to leveraging the diverse technologies and expertise we have cultivated over many years to proactively challenge ourselves and create a new tomorrow, contributing to the future possibilities of people, our customers, and society.
To fulfill this mission, we have established three values that serve as fundamental beliefs and guiding principles for each employee’s actions:
