OMRON offers six types of selection guides to help you quickly find the right product from our wide range of electronic components.
There are three formats available: web pages, PDF files, and printed materials. Please choose the format that is most convenient for you.

Selection guides are the perfect tool for product selection.

Ease of finding (Easy to find the right product)

Easy to find products with a structure that highlights the selection points for each product.

Example: The selection point for connectors is first to consider the physical and structural aspects of “how to connect” (connection method and state).

The connection status is visualized with illustrations. Considering the large number of signals (wires) to be handled, would a flat cable be better? Due to dimensional constraints, wires can only be brought in from the side of the PCB, so wouldn't an XG4 MIL connector with a right angle shape like (A) be a good choice?

Ease of comparison (Easy to compare product specifications)

Similar products and series products are listed side by side, making it easy to compare specifications.

Example: Mechanical relay

Considering the need for installation in products that require high contact reliability, I like the G6DN among products with the same 5A switching capacity because it has (A) a bifurcated crossbar contact and (B) a longer service life. In addition, (C) the small footprint will contribute to product miniaturization.

Ease of understanding (Tips for new ways to use)

Applications are introduced for each product, allowing you to discover new ways to use them.
