Weathering the Challenge of Long-Range Data Communications

OMRON JOIN US FOR A COMPLIMENTARY WEBINAR

Tools used for tracking the constantly changing weather and climate patterns across the globe have become an increasingly valuable resource in agriculture, Smart City, and meteorology. Weather sensing stations can be equipped with LoRa communication protocols, a technology that allows engineers to track weather data in real time while offering low-power, long-range communication access to user databases.

Industries across the globe have been working towards building devices that can not only collect key climate data, but build their components in line with growing IoT structures to communicate data seamlessly across networks. Furthermore, with the recent trend of natural disasters, people are working closely with climate studies groups to better prepare for changes to the climate and what their effects may be. Using sensors to gather spot weather data on the fly can help farmers, city planners, and ecologists reach their best abilities for development and maintenance. Omron feels that by using their weather station to connect to LoRa networks, users can easily tackle all of these challenges as they come to face them in a changing technical and natural world.

In this webinar, OMRON and KS Technologies will discuss their joint collaboration to develop LoRa tools for capturing and sharing climate data tailored to your needs.

Key Highlights:

  • Industry Trends: IoT Communications & Climate Concerns
  • Weather Tracking Solutions
  • LoRa Connectivity
