Explain the Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) of your SMD type Photomicrosensors.

ID: FAQE40050E

Omron’s SMD type Photomicrosensors is equivalent to MSL 5. This is only a guide.

The MSL (Moisture Sensitivity Level) is an evaluation standard that indicates the susceptibility to damage caused by expansion of components absorbing moisture during reflow soldering.
Omron considers it to be Level 5, but there is no guarantee. Follow the precautions described in the datasheet.
