OMRON, leveraging its core "connecting" and "switching" technologies, is at the forefront of achieving carbon neutrality. The company is contributing significantly to the cause by providing high-capacity relays with low heat generation. These relays play a pivotal role in securing people's lives and supporting customers in their journey towards carbon neutrality.

Schneider Electric, a multinational corporation specializing in energy management and automation solutions, introduces fully integrated UPS solutions in its latest Galaxy VS series. These solutions offer unparalleled levels of availability, reduced total cost of ownership (TCO), and improved energy efficiency. The collaboration between OMRON and SE spans over two decades, with OMRON consistently delivering sophisticated, high-quality devices that add unique value to SE's diverse applications.

Engineers from OMRON and SE, committed to addressing the growing demand for higher efficiency in energy utilization, recently collaborated in brainstorming sessions. The focus was on achieving secure functioning, higher capacity, reduced footprint, and lower heat generation in UPS systems. The mutual knowledge exchange resulted in the successful development of the Galaxy VS series, significantly reducing energy losses and optimizing physical size and material consumption.

A key contributor to the success of the UPS series development was OMRON's high-capacity power relays with low contact resistance, effectively suppressing heat generation. The benefits of these relays extend across a wide range of energy applications, promising a substantial impact on reducing the carbon footprint.

OMRON and Schneider Electric pledge to continue their collaborative efforts in providing solutions for highly efficient energy management. This partnership not only addresses the current demand for sustainability but also aims to create new value, contributing to a safer and more sustainable society. As the demand for energy-efficient solutions continues to rise, OMRON and SE stand united in their commitment to driving positive change in the energy management landscape.
