The lot number of the product indicated on the switch body or the packing box is the date of the product’s production in the left 4 digits, with Omron’s recognition codes afterward in alphanumeric characters.


The code consists of day (two digits), month, year, and control number (e.g. production site, line number).
Please refer to the following table. Note that this coding does not necessarily apply to all the available switch models.

17Z9R1: Manufactured on December 17, 2009 or 2019
