Which basic switches are heat resistant?

The molded parts (housing and cover) of the basic switch are heat resistant.

• Type V heat resistant: V-□□-□□□-T *Heat resistant 150°C
• Type SS heat resistant: SS-□□□□T *Heat resistant 120°C

The insulators (housing and cover) of the basic switch are heat resistant. Two types of molding materials are used for insulators (housing and cover).

1. Thermoplastics:
   A polymer that melts and deforms when heated. It’s easy to handle and used in many switches.
2. Thermoset:
   A resin that cures when heated. It is not easy to handle but is used for heat-resistant switches because of its high heat resistance. Thermosetting resins have a property that they do not melt easily when heated, but they deform and shrink when they exceed the heat-resistant temperature.
