Even if there are persons (children) in the world with physical or mental disabilities, they should not have to face barriers at work.
Opportunity over protective care!
Doctor of Medical Science Yutaka Nakamura established Japan Sun Industries on the principle of "even if there are persons (children) in the world with physical or mental disabilities, they should not have to face barriers at work." Also, Omron Corporation founder Kazuma Tateishi summarized the stance of contributing to society through business and management (corporation as public organ) in the Company Motto.
In 1972, Omron Taiyo Co., Ltd., was born, as a joint venture company founded on a resonance with the philosophies of these two people, functioning as a welfare facility and disabled persons private-sector company, and it soon came to be known as the "factory with wheelchairs".
